
CTLC stands for “Certified in Long-Term Care,” a designation granted by the Corporation for Long Term Care Certification. CLTC graduates have completed a rigorous multidisciplinary course that focuses on the profession of long-term care. The program is recognized by state regulators, through the granting of continuing education credits, as having provided essential information necessary to the appropriate sale of long-term care insurance.

A Certified Senior Advisor is an exclusive professional. Members are educated to assist Senior Americans face serious issues that include insurance, financial security, housing, health, legal, and social concerns. Additionally, members must give evidence of meeting continuing education requirements, either by completion of classes in senior ethics, or a combination of volunteer hours in addition to ethic classes.

The National Ethics Bureau is a membership organization of approved insurance and financial advisors who have maintained an exemplary record of business ethics. The NEB verifies to the public that each member has successfully passed their EthicsCheck Screening Process , which includes a seven year background check for criminal, civil and business violations.

Founded in 1930, The National Association of Health Underwriters is an organization whose members are representative of insurance agents and brokers from all around the country. Adopting a strict code of ethics, they seek to improve their knowledge of health insurance regulations and products through monthly meetings, and through continuing education.

The Association of Health Insurance Advisors advocates for a positive legislative environment enhanced business and professional skills, and the promotion of ethical conduct of its members. Within the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), AHIA works to provide services to its members in the areas of legislation, professional development and educational programming. Members are actively involved in the sale of group and individual health related products, including disability, long-term care, critical illness, Medicare supplement insurance and worksite products.
